The Nebula Class is a TNG-era starship that first appeared in the episode “Redemption” which showed the USS Sutherland, NCC-72015. According to one website, there were three other variants of the Nebula Class that appeared in other episodes. The USS Farragut was seen in Star Trek: Generations, the USS Phoenix was seen in “The Wounded”, and a CGI version appeared in Star Trek: Voyager. At least seventeen ships and registry numbers are considered to be “cannon” starships. The Nebula is to the TNG-era what the Reliant was to the TMP-era.

The VA miniatures kit features a solid-cast beige resin primary hull, warp pylons, dorsal pylon, and dorsal sensor pod. Clear-blue cast-resin parts are included for the secondary hull and the warp nacelles. The Bussard collectors are cast in clear red resin.

Markings are included for the USS Honshu, which was later in the DS9 episode “Waltz”. A full set of hull markings, transporter emitters, and pennants is included. However, no windows are cast into the hull, which means that the builder will either need to hand-paint them or use a detailing set that includes windows.
